Audi R8 - LSD rebuild kit

• Audi R8: First generation, Type 42 (2006–2015)

• 4 × Moly-Ceramics clutch / friction discs designed for longevity
• 4 × Durable dog ear steel plates built for relentless performance
• 2 × Preload spring shims for smooth and predictable transitions

All clutches are perforated to improve cooling and oil flow, effectively preventing oil build-up between dog ear plates and maintaining consistent performance under hard use.

The factory LSD configuration has no preload, which can lead to harsh lock transitions and unpredictable oversteer in long corners. This erratic behavior also accelerates clutch wear.

Our kit replaces the traditional dog ear plates with two preload shims, creating a finely tuned preload that stabilizes the car, improves traction, and makes the LSD far more predictable on the limit.

This clutch pack was co-developed with the Audi R8 1:1 World Time Attack Challenge Team. It was used in their 1300 whp R8, helping the team secure the 2019 Vice-Championship—a real-world validation of its strength and performance.
